I love the raw expression that comes out in this song. Also the very clear metallic sound of the guitar is catching to the ear. I first heard it searching RUclips about ten or so years ago and it bit me instantly. (I'm 62) My favourite song of all artists is Runaway and this is not far behind. He was certainly unique.

Roller skating with my future wife at the local rink, holding hands and sharing a Coke and French fries afterwards and then a kiss later!!! Those innocent days are gone forever. So glad I grew up when I did in the late 60's early 70's!!!

Dad put a muffler and tail pipe on his T-bird one Sunday afternoon at our Mobil Service Station.. Called Clough's auto parts in Storm Lake, Iowa and he opened his Auto Parts store as they were closed on Sundays. Del Shannon and his group were across the hwy having a party in Chautauqua Park. Wow that was a long time ago....

Loved Del. Did a bunch of shows backing him on keys in Maine in the 60s. We even double-dated one night with two girls from the show in my 52 Chevy 4 door. He was a bundle of energy.
